Six Years
So here marks the beginning of all things anew. Maybe it was wrong of me to do the things I have done in my past, but there is no turning back now. All I can do is wish for the best for those whom I have left behind, and leaving behind. I have made new friends, I have turned from my past, and I have dwelt in my past long enough to know I can never change it. Coming to terms with what was is the only way out for me, and to make peace with myself is all I can count on right now.
Apologizing will no longer make a difference. As much as I would like to make amends, she has already made hers. And for the longest time the people I have met since has shown me that I do not matter to them, and them to me. What matters now is what I do with the life the Lord has set forth before me.
I am not perfect, but in God I can be. And thus my steps ahead will guide me towards His glory, and His will. I am thankful for the pastor and members at the Lethbridge Mennonite Church for such warm hospitality, and for providing a place for me to worship and serve Him.
May this empty cup, be filled once more...
